Loopi was created to simplify the entry into the cryptocurrency world, addressing a significant challenge in buying and selling crypto from a self-custody wallet. This challenge stems from the fact that most exchanges retain custody of the crypto instead of the user. In response, we introduced Loopipay, a website that facilitates buying and selling directly from a personal wallet using PIX, an instant payment system in Brazil.
App
Through research and interviews with users, we observed that the majority had more than one wallet, leading to difficulties in managing assets. Based on this insight, we developed the Loopi app, allowing users to connect all their wallets and have a consolidated view of their wealth. The app also integrates the functionality to buy and sell for self-custodial wallets.
My role
I worked as a Senior Product Designer, from conception of the app until its launch, my main contributions were UI, motion, micro-interactions and user flows.
